  • ID documents such as your Driving Licence, Passport and National Insurance number (if you don't have these see the DBS website for a list of other documents that can be accepted) 

  • Your address history for the last 5 years (if you don't have this see the DBS website on what to include)

STEP 2: Training

For your team, you will need to complete the following training:

  • Basic Awareness

  • Foundations

The training will take a few hours to complete.

 

To do your training, you will need to create an account using the ‘Start training’ button. You will need to add the following details:

Diocese: Blackburn

Cathedral: Not involved at a Cathedral

Training Institution: Not part of a training institution

Religious Community: Not applicable

STEP 3: Confidential Declaration Form

A Confidential Declaration form is a requirement by the Church of England where volunteers declare any relevant criminal history or safeguarding concerns that may affect their suitability for joining a team.
