"Pentecost is just around the corner, and I don’t know about you, but I’ve been feeling such a hunger for more of God.

As we take these 10 days to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us again, I’ve been so encouraged by what we’re already seeing — especially among Gen Z. Young people turning up at church with no real reason, just drawn by something (or someone) they can’t explain. It feels like God is doing something unusual and beautiful and I'm here for it!

We’re praying for revival — not just for our church, but for the whole Fylde Coast. Come, Holy Spirit.

10 Days of Prayer

29th May - 7th June

Churches from across the Fylde Coast are joining together to pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and revival in our region. Join us for a series of daily prayer activities, with morning prayer meetings on Zoom and worship with churches from across the region on Saturday 7th June at 7.00pm at Blackpool Church.

Pentecost

Sunday 8th June

Pentecost marks 50 days after Easter, when everything changed for Jesus’ followers.

They were uncertain, waiting, unsure of what was next — and then came the Holy Spirit. Not just an idea, but a presence. Not just for them, but for all of us.

We believe that same Spirit is still moving today — giving hope to the tired, peace to the anxious, and power to live differently. If you’ve ever wondered what faith looks like in real life… Pentecost Sunday is a great place to start.

Parent and Toddler Alpha

Wednesday 4th June

We’re running another Alpha Course for Parents of Babies and Toddlers!

Alpha is an 6-week course where we explore life, faith and meaning and is a chance to ask big questions in a safe space.

If you know someone who would enjoy coming and wants to find out more about the Christian faith, why not invite them to our next course, starting in June after our Babies & Toddler Group on a Wednesday.

It’s a great place to meet other parents, with snacks and friendly conversation.

Interest Groups

At Blackpool Church, we believe in building strong connections within our community, and our Interest Groups are the perfect way to do just that! These groups offer a chance to meet new people, explore your interests, and deepen your relationships with others in a fun and relaxed setting.

One of our interest groups is our Ladies Lunch which meets 1st Sunday of the month after the 11am gathering to hang out, and catch-up with one another.

Goodbye to the Peatman Family

The Peatman family have been such a blessing, right from launch back in 2022. We just want to say a massive thank you, we’re so grateful for everything they have poured into this church family from Preaching and Worship to Toddlers and Kids. We’ll be cheering them on as they step into an exciting new chapter, at Christ Church Wesham.

Weekly

Sunday Gatherings // Sunday at 11am
Sundays at church are for everyone! There’s worship, prayer, a talk and groups for kids and young people. There is a creche for children 0-2, and we ask that older children don’t play in the creche to keep the little ones safe! Doors open at 10.30am for coffee and pastries.

Tuesday Youth // Tuesdays 7pm - 8.30pm

Tuesday Youth is a space for you to bring your friends to hang out. We’ve got toasties, games, craft and consoles. We also give time for music and to hear from some inspiring people. Tuesday Youth is term-time only.

Babies & Toddlers // Wednesdays 9.30am - 11am
Babies & Toddlers is a stay and play for children aged 0-4 and is free of charge.
There is singing, crafts and stories, tea, coffee, toast and cereal. Babies & Toddlers is term-time only.

Communion at Beacon Church // Wednesdays 11am
A simple gathering at Beacon Church where we share communion and listen to a short talk. The address for Beacon is 42 Reads Avenue, FY1 4DE.

Open House // Thursdays 10am - 12pm

Open House is a drop-in which provides a safe and warm space, activities, hot food (for which there is a small charge), fresh fruit and refreshments. Our experienced team provide a great welcome, spend time listening to people’s life stories, signpost to other agencies as appropriate and offer to pray with people.
