On Saturday 16 May 2026 we are inviting the whole Diocese to have a ‘Big Day Out’ together in the centre of Blackpool here at Blackpool Church.

Event Outline & Info

11:00–13:00

• Family Zone (St John’s Church): Activities, crafts, worship, inflatables, and a pre-school area for young children and families only (no unaccompanied adults).

• Youth Zone (St John’s CE Primary School): Games, worship, food, and activities for school years 7–11. Drop-off required; registration essential.

• Main Stage (St John’s Square): Live music and comedy (weather permitting).

13:00–14:00

• Free hog roast (veg option) for pre-registered attendees; drinks available to buy; nearby cafés also open.

14:00–15:15

• Open-air worship celebration with live music, a message from Bishop Philip, and stories of faith.
